Update 05/10/14: Hey guys, sorry to do this, but today’s strip is going to be up tomorrow. Little too much on my plate right now.

I grew up having a lot of fun at cinco de mayo festivals. Same thing for just about every ethnic related day. Most of the controversy I see is when people are wearing American flag type paraphernalia. You don’t see a furor when somebody is wearing a Stars and Stripes T during St. Paddy’s day, Columbus Day, Hanukah, Halloween etc. Only on Cinco de Mayo, which is not even a big deal in Mexico, only in the USA.

Yeah after a day of checking out the news, the only controversy and hit pieces were on those who were wearing American flag stuff. Pretty much called it.

Today’s strip is funny and its theme is an unfortunate truism. I would like to point out that St. Patty’s Day is only 1.5 months before May 5th, though. ;-)

Wearing silly hats!? I’d drink to that! Dude missing the point of Cinco de Mayo. It’s an excuse to get drunk on a Monday night.

Isn’t that, like, every holiday in the US?

  • Sabrina Pandora

I’m glad you kept the stop sign… good marketing angle and kinda her thing.
